Magnesia spinel brick
Introduction:
Magnesia spinel brick is dominated by periclase and the magnesia-alumina is used as the matrix, it is a basic refractory brick. Its thermal shock resistance is better than that of magnesia brick. In order to improve the thermal shock resistance of magnesia brick, a fine powder of alumina or bauxite clinker is introduced into the batch of the magnesia brick to form a matrix of magnesium aluminate spinel, thereby forming a magnesia-aluminum brick.
Advantages:
Good thermal shock to resistance, high refractoriness under load
Application:
Cement rotary kiln, glass melting furnace, reverberatory furnace roof, open-hearth furnace
