Refractory ramming mass

Description:

Refractory ramming mass is a unshaped refractories that is constructed by manual or mechanical tamping and hardened through heating. It is a monolithic refractories. It typically operates at the areas in direct contact with molten material, which requires it to possess excellent volume stability, density and corrosion resistance. Therefore, usually high-temperature sintered or electro-melted raw materials are adopted. The service lifetime of refractory ramming mass depends on the baking process before use or the sintering quality during the first use, and the quality of its construction is also very important.
