Insulating castable

Description:

Insulating castable is an insulating refractory castable with a true porosity no less than 45%, which is a monolithic refractories and is also known as light weight refractory castable. Insulating castable has a high porosity and low thermal conductivity. It possesses certain fire resistance properties and excellent thermal insulation performance. Compared with dense refractories, it can reduce heat loss by 20% to 80%. Its application can enhance the operational efficiency of the kiln, reduce the weighing of equipment, and using integral casting or precast block makes it easier to manufacture and install.
